March 2025 --- We are looking forward to beginning construction on our museum in March of 2025, as long as plans continue to fall into place.

Historical Committee Meeting
The history committee of the Heart of The Atchafalaya Museum met to gather historical information on Pierre Part and Belle River on Monday, January 6th at Geno Blanchard’s home in Pierre Part, La. In attendance were Chad Leblanc, Geno Blanchard, Clifford “Chachie” Lagrange and Phillip Daigle advisor, as well as Carol Aucoin as a contributor.
The time is drawing near where we will begin ground breaking and gathering accurate and as much information is critical for the success of our museum. There have been many things happening behind the scenes along with a name change and logo chance for the museum. We are all striving to make our museum to be the best it can be. Stay tuned for additional information! Again we thank you for your support.
